was bräuchtest du denn genau für dateien? hab denselben codec, und auch schon einen erfolglosen versuch hinter mir, einen eigenen AppleALC für mein board zu bauen - also codecdump&co hätte ich.
richtig spannend fände ich ja, wenn du erklären könntest, was da genau passiert/gemacht werden muss für einen customALC -
Der gute @MacPeet hat eine Anleitung in Deutsch dazu geschrieben und wäre hier mein erster Ansprechpartner.

hab ich durchgearbeitet.. und hab's nicht hingekriegt. sowohl nicht mit AppleHDA direkt patchen, als auch nix mit dem versuch, die codecdaten in einen AppleALC reinzufummeln -
Hmm, kA ich bin da jetzt auch weiß Gott kein Profi drin, würde mir jedoch deine Datein trotzdem gerne anschauen, aber das wird nicht in der nächsten Zeit geschehen können, da ich demnächst Abiturvorklausuren anstehen....

@parrhesia i have the same codec and also problems to get it working with AppleALC (for now i use a VoodooHDA.kext, works, but i dont like it )
i tried to build my own AppleALC and i tried to patch the original HDA with the data from the codecdump - both without success -and here i thought, it would be easier for helpers, to download the textdocument from the dump than to copy this long text from the posting..

ich hatte mir die sourcen (xcode) vom letzten ALC ohne lilu runtergeladen, und versucht, den codec da reinzubringen, nachdem ich mit deiner anleitung den HDA direkt zu patchen keinen erfolg hatte. mein alc (mit den xmls nach deiner anleitung) wurde zwar geladen, die originale HDA ebenfalls, aber keine hardware erkannt. irgendwas hab ich da falsch gemacht, aber nicht rausfinden können, was.
habs dann erstmal vertagt, weil die voodoo ja irgendwie zumindest einigermassen tut.
mein board und auch das im esprimo vom @parrhesia haben nur einen stereo line out (grün) und einen stereo line in (blau) sowie den header on board. -
Kannst du mir vllt mal deine DSDT rübergeben?
