Nvidia gtx 1080 display port audio issue

    Hello I was wondering if anyone knows how to enable audio on gtx 1080 via display port? I figured it out but had to do a fresh install and can’t get it to work. Display port audio enabled my monitors speakers to work

    Do you already use a patched DSDT which contains the necessary settings to get HDMI-Audio from discrete graphics working?


    If so, just add the following KextsToPatch-Entry and see if it works:

    Name com.apple.driver.AppleHDAController
    Find [HEX] DE100B0E
    Replace [HEX] DE10F010
    Comment GTX1080 HDMI-Audio
