Where is Mojave downloaded?

Should be in the same place...

There is no need to delete this thread, since the normal user would expect to get a hint of Mojave through the Update section, which isn’t the case...

You have to actively click on Mojave to start the download and update process.

ich steh trotzdem auf dem Schlauch.

Bei mir geht der Download sehr zügig.
Im Applications Folder sehe ich "macos Mojave installieren" aber mit nur 22,8MB.

Wie komme ich an die Installationsdateien für einen Cleaninstall?

@lunarow Ich glaube du musst High Sierra auf dem Aktuellen stand haben mit allen Updates bevor du dir Majove ganz runterladen kannst... ist meine Vermutung (kein profi)

Hmm ... möglich möglich.

Gleicher Effekt auf Hackintosh mit El Capital.
Und MacBook auf Sierra.

Werde mal MacBook auf High Sierra upgraden.

@lunarow Bei mir zumindest habe ich alle Updates übern Appstore gemacht und konnte bei Release die Voll Version Downloaden, müsste also bei dir auch so sein

So ist es kann ich bestätigen.

Das System sollte auf AKTUELLEM Stand sein.

You could download the dmg from some dmg-share website.The correct size is nerly 6 GB

Die 22 MB große Datei ist nur ein Sever-Image bzw. ein Update File. Heißt da ist nicht wie sonst der volle Installer drin, der wird erst während der Installation geladen.
Was mir zuvor mit HS den kalten schweiß auf die Stirn brachte
