Finetuning: Filevault

    Hallo liebe Leute.


    Ich nutze das System wie in meinem Profil beschrieben. Die Tastatur und die Maus sind über USB angeschlossen. Kannich problemlos Filevault aktivieren?

    WIe verhält es sich mit Clover, bleibt alles beim alten, oder kommt eine weitere Partition dazu und ich muss aufpassen von welcher ich starten möchte?


    Ich habe an meinem MacBook schon immer Filevault aktiv, jetzt beim Häcki möchte ich das auch, ich hab nur von PreBoot Problemen gelesen und mich bis jetzt nicht daran getraut.

    Ich habe bei drivers64UEFI im Clover die Treiber AppleImageLoader-64.efi, AppleUISupport-64.efi, AptioInputFix-64.efi und FirmwareVolume-64.efi drin und in der config.plist bei GUI unter Hide Volume alles leer gelassen, nicht das da etwas mit preboot drinne steht. Damit sollte es alles laufen. Es wird bei der Boot-Auswahl das Preboot-Volume mit deinem System sowie die Wiederherstellungspartition angezeigt. Was manchmal noch sein kann das die Install-Partition da ist, weil sie wieder mal beim aufräumen nach dem Install oder Update nicht gelöscht worden ist. Das ist aber nur ein Schönheitsfehler.

    Wie von ebs beschrieben. Der Clover Installer hat eine Rubrik zu Filevault. Die anhaken und los gehts.

    Danke soweit, aber die Rubrik in Clover finde ich nicht, ich habe noch Clover 4630.

    Dann wird es Zeit. Mit KextUpdater oder CC kannst du den aktuellen Clover holen.

    Ich weiß, aber ik trau mir nich.

    Als ich das das letzt Mal getan habe, hats mir den Häcki unwiederbringlich zerschossen. Ich hab meinen Häcki nur mit 4630 zum Laufen bekommen.

    Dann lass doch den Hacki unangetastet und erstell dir einen Clover-Bootstick. Wenn das klappt kannst du die EFI vom Bootstick auf die SSD (oder HDD) kopieren.

    Ich hab leider noch wichtiges am Mac zu tun, so werde ich wohl erst zum Wochenende dazu kommen, aber danke sehr guter Tipp :)
