Vorke V8: Ernstzunehmende Mac Mini Alternative

Hallo Allerseits,

I have a problem with my s200 lan connection under Mojave and under Catalina as well... im trying to fix it since last year november... so the ethernet connection drops when copying large or large amount files from the s200 to any of my NAS through SMB. You can see in the log the following when the connection drops:

2019-11-20 16:12:35.840388+0100 0x1b5 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (kernel) [RealtekRTL8111]: Tx timeout. Lost interrupt?

This happens to all of Mieze's driver from 2.2.2 to 2.3.0d7.

The issue cannot reproduced under Ubuntu 18 or under Windows 10.

What i have done so far:

- Changed cable from cat5e to shielded cat6

- Changed switch from Netgear to Tplink T1600-

- Tried all the drivers mentioned above

- Tried switching auto negotiation to manual

- EEE off/on

- Disable ASPM in Clover

Any idea?

CMMChris Die Version 2.3.0d7 von RealtekRTL8111Ethernet ist nur ein Development Build. Aus diesem Grund würde es mich nicht wundern, wenn da noch ein paar Macken drin sind, aber ich werde vor meiner letzten Klausur am 9.3. definitiv keine Zeit haben, mich mit dem Problem zu befassen.

Okay I was up all night long because i've gone mad to sort this lan problem finally and It seems 99.9% I came up with a solution.

The solution was to switch SMBIOS from macmini 8,1 to imac 19,2, since the smbios change I couldn't reproduce the issue with the lan connection described in my previous post.

After 1 week testing,

Disabling FixLAN option in Clover results stable LAN connection with Macmini8,1 SMBIOS.

...more testing needed...

Currently running: RTL8111.kext v2.2.2

OS: Mac OS X Catalina 10.15.2

S200 Bios version is:

VM2 0.06 x64

Wie siehts denn eigentlich mit künftigen Updates aus, speziell auf Catalina, würde das denn problemlos funktionieren?

Habs mal auf Catalina geupdatet, funktioniert wirklich problemlos

Gäbe es denn eine Lösung für das Problem mit dem HDMI Eingang, damit ich den irgendwie ordentlich zum laufen bringe?

In CLOVER/ACPI/Fixes i made the following modifications to CMMChris Vorke V8 config:

Enabled FixIPIC and FixSBUS

Disabled DeleteUnused

Disabled FixLAN

Lan stable... totally... now im very happy

Hier mal ein angepasstes BIOS (ohne Garantie!)

Habe alle Menüpunkte freigeschalten - vielleicht gibts ja wo die Intel Management Engine.

Zudem hab ich die TDP Settings und das Übertakten-Menü freigeschalten.

Informiert euch aber wie ihr das Original Bios wieder flashed wenns euch was zerlegt.

PS: Erfahrung hab ich beim Vorke Notebook - da hat alles funktioniert.

Hi xyrkep,

you have not edit the config.plist with a valid smbios. I have done it for you with smbios macmini8,1 and also add boot argument alcid=14 for working audio/microphone. Try it.

ich bin Anfänger was Hackintosh betrift!

Jetzt hab ich mir so ein Modell aus China bestellt und "dachte" es wäre einfach da Hackintosh zu installieren.

Falsch gedacht.

hab jetzt schon eininge .pists ausprobiert, aber weiter bis zum Apfel mit vollem Ladebalken bin ich nicht gekommen!

Irgend etwas mach ich falsch.

Kann ich dieses Modell ohne Bios flash nicht bespielen?

Wenn ja, kann mir jemand die Efis und den Plist zum download bereitstellen?

Wäre sehr dankbar! Sitze jetzt schon einige Tage am PC!

danke für die schnelle Antwort!

Den Vorke v8 gibt es leider nicht mehr, aber Baugleiche Modelle!

Mein ist von Partaker: Mini PC B18, Intel i7-8750H, 8GB Ram, das S200 Mainboard, 2x Festplatte M2 Nvme! Wlan noch Intel aber bald Apple original BC!

Gemacht hab ich:

Bootstick Mojave, Clover drauf und ursprünglich mit den Efi´s und dergleichen von Christopher! Da gings aber gar nicht weit!

Erst war es ein Error: Namespace lookup failure...

dann hab ich mit den EFi´s und der Plist gespielt, also von anderen draufgespielt!

Jetzt komm ich bis zum vollen Ladebalken und dann nicht weiter! (Er zeigt aber keinen Text mehr an)

Wie gesagt ich bin Anfänger, hab mich jetzt 2 Tage gespielt, aber noch wenig Hintergrundwissen!
