    Hi, greecedrummer ! GigaByte has a new (corrected old) bios F8. Without a letter index.
    This is after the bios F20A. Dear greecedrummer! What do you recommend? Your opinion is very important!

  • Dear Muzman, as far as I know, Bios-Version with a letter are alway beta-versions, meant for testing. Only Versions without a letter are final and recommended for daily use. But I might be wrong....

    F8 Bios Update


    I'm not a fan of current BIOS updates, but in this case you have to do the update.

    Please use this EFI for this. Then everything works!


    Please do not forget important procedures:

    Set bios from standard settings to the recommended ones.

    Please do not save settings from old bios to the new one! Does not start!

    NVram reset is mandatory!

    Then load your macOS!
