Update von Monterey auf Ventura geht nicht

    Hallo,

    ich habe das Update Ventura aus Monterey gestartet. Es lief erst ohne Probleme durch. Nach dem Neustart, zum fortsetzen der Installation, bleibt es beim Bootvorgang hängen (siehe Screenshot).

    Hat jemand das selbe Problem bzw eine Lösung? Auch im Anhang meine config.plist.

    Ich bin dankbar für jeden Hinweis.


    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

    MB: Asus ROG STRIX B550-E Gaming

    Graka: Radeon RX 480

    vielleicht braucht es speziellerweise für ventura + amd = patches,

    das weiß mitunter fabiosun .

    your problem is Patches related

    you have to update them to latest patches

    rhese ones are from a AMD Vanilla patches github

    Archive.zip

    you have to properly configure for your CPU core count


    edit:

    be sure to update also your boot loader and kexts

    Tja, auf Grund meiner Unkenntnis brauche ich noch einmal Hilfe. Jetzt hänge ich an der nächste Stolperstelle fest (siehe screenshot). Laut config.plist ist mein Mac ein MacPro7,1 und somit kompatibel mit Ventura. Aber irgend etwas übersehe ich bzw mache ich falsch. Die Fehlermeldung kommt im Update Dialog beim auswählen des Laufwerkes.

    Es wäre toll wenn mir nochmal jemand helfen könnte.

    ciao amox if I understand well system is asking to format the volume where you like to install your OSX

    I would use Disk utility in previous menu and I would format the disk as usual (APFS /GUID Partition Map)

    You translated the popup correctly. That's my problem. I think I can install Ventura on APFS. But the update wants me to format it. I don't know how to proceed

    welche opencore version nutzt du eigentlich- via den ocat sowie oc 0.9.1 "meckert" ocvalidate vor dem speichern-danach nicht mehr,-


    da ich kein amdsystem mit osx bespaße, weiß ich das nicht- also einfach mal mit dem dortania-guide verglichen-ob es danach einfach so läuft, kann ich dir auch nicht sagen
