Okay, and I can use this guide for the GM, right?
And, this might be a stupid question, but do you think I'm gonna be able to update Ozmosis (when a 10.11 compatible version comes out) and keep my current OS X El Capitan, or will I need to reinstall the whole system from scratch? (I really just want to make everything as trouble-free as possible).

Sorry to troll in in English, but I didn't feel I should open a new topic for this. So if I understand correctly, Ozmosis is not compatible with El Capitan GM at the moment. Does it make sense to wait for Ozmosis (and use Clover/Chimera in the meantime, which I prefer not to), or is it still far from being realised?

Thanks, I feel a bit stupid now

Hi guys,
In BIOS, when I set "Init Display First" to Auto, and "Internal Graphics" to Enabled, the IGFX gives black screen, and GTX 760 gives the following error at boot:
When I set "Init Display First" to IGFX, and "Internal Graphics" to Enabled, the IGFX brings up BIOS screen, but at boot it gives this:
When I set both to Auto, GTX 760 gives picture, IGFX doesn't.
What could be the problem?

It's specific for the drive, but it's a very easy process:
1. open Automator - New Document - choose document type as Application
2. drag the drive in the workflow window
3. in Actions on the left, go to Files and Folders-Eject Disk - drag it under the drive workflow that has been created previously
4. save it and put in the Login Items in System Preferences/Users and GroupsThat's it!
One thing though, this does not eject the disk when the computer wakes from sleep, so the disk gets mounted again.
Is there any way to eject it also when waking up? -
okay, I rebooted, and still no UUID and the disk still mounts. I'm ready for the next task
(I checked with TinkerTool and it is set to not mount automatically, so there must be some weird thing going on)UPDATE: I found an easy solution: made an Automator app to eject the drive, and added the script to the login items
Thanks for the input guys!

done, what's next? (I tried to check UUID again)

okay, that one worked, but for some reason it doesn't display the UUID:

For the command
I get:Usage: diskutil info[rmation] [-plist]
MountPoint|DiskIdentifier|DeviceNode|UUID
Display detailed information about a disk or partition.
Root access is not required.Looks like no UUID comes up (by the way the Windows drive is not displayed in Ozmosis GUI either, if it helps).

You mean OS X won't mount it? Is it possible then to mount it, in case I need to access it from OS X?
I was hoping for a terminal command.. -
Hey guys,
The title says it all, do you know which one is the best way to do it?
My Windows drive is 7200RPM, and with an other 7200RPM one together (plus an 5400RPM backup drive) they make the house (Fractal Design R4 XL) vibrate as hell, so I don't need Windows to be mounted all the time.
Yes, and how to mount it, if I need it?Cheers!
-
It worked, thanks man!
-
Thanks for the guidance!
Update: Sorry to come back to this, but I deleted the Defaults.plist file, yet Ozmosis GUI still shows up at boot, then OS X boots automatically, just like before I deleted it. I even set UserInterFace back to true before deleting. What could be the problem?
-
I set it to false, saved and rebooted but nothing changed... It must be, that I installed Windows when I was using Chimera, before mighty Ozmosis:D Anyway, I'm gonna reinstall Windows at some point (not using it anyway :keinwindows: lol), maybe when 10 comes out.
So I just delete the Default.plist file and everything goes back to normal, right? -
I put the file into /EFI/OZ on the EFI Partition, and the Windows disk still doesn't show up in Ozmosis GUI, in fact now it boots OS X automatically (after the OS X drive icon shows up).
Update: and I just noticed, Ozmosis GUI always comes up at boot, even without pressing alt/option.
-
Thanks for the effort, I used both commands and rebooted, but still no-show...
-
Okay, so that's for the BIOS if I'm right, but why does nothing show up in Ozmosis GUI (only Mac OS X)? Before I used Ozmosis, Chimera displayed the Windows partition too.
-
I tried it, and still only Mac OS X shows up in Ozmosis GUI...
Actually in BIOS, only the hard drive shows up that contains Windows, but not the name of the partition, like with Mac OS X.
