to make it simple i do as this thread says for usb3 and now when i connect my usb3 device my mac suddenly restart after few hours on its own then usb3 not detected and i had to restart again to make it work.

is it help now?

Hello everone,

USB2 & 3 on my hackintosh but after last 2 update of high sierra and latest mojave 10.14 & 10.14.1 my system start to reboot suddenly after a few hours my USB3 hard disk attached to my hackintosh. I checked it and I'm sure it's something wrong with USB3 because it rebooted my USB3 did not recognisze by macOS and system works normally without restarting. I have not got any problem with it until I release the OS and I thought it would not be possible to fix it. I have usbinjecall.kext in my clover kext folder and i exclude the port as instruction. i have dsdt.aml in my clover too which is patched for my board z97x-u3d-bk rev1.2

BTW i have one USB3 hub which all my usb devices connect to that then connect to my mainboard and my mouse and keyboard connect directly to mainboard.

i need more thing just tell me and i provide what you need

I don't know about HighSierra but on Sierra last couple of months i get this problem and as you said it happens sometimes you can login without problem but most of the time after reinstalling Sierra I get stuck in ID need to be unlocked.
Im not sure if this happens to everybody or not. but as i mentioned before i use same plist without changing anything

I cannot see my apfs drive after first part of installation in clover boot menu. I have apfs.efi in my diver64uefi folder.

So then why im get locked by apple each time i reintall my mac

Hi guys,

Recently I get this which my apple id get locked and i need to reset my password after each reinstalling or some times after updating my hackintosh.

i checked my smbios it is same and serial number is same as always i kept it that way.

but today i checked my EFI folder and find something interesting in EFI/APPLE/FIRMWARE with name of IM142_0118_B14_LOCKED.scap what the hell is this. its never be there as long as i check it.

You might need to manually add a boot entry via bcfg since OZ will not create an APFS Entry by it´s self. I guess that is meant with "manually bless boot.efi"...

Hi guys, Im going to create new OZ file but the thing i can undrestand is manually bless boot.efi. i dont get it qiut well. what shoud i do with boot.efi and where should i get it

Ok it's more weird now because it's boot now with lilu and voodoohda and shiki normally with dsdt

update1:

i edit my appleacl-ozm.kext and remove all other audio id and only let my alc1150 id's stay in info.plist and add applealc-ozm.kext to oz folder and reboot and voila sounds works too. I think there is a problem in both kext and my dsdt which couldn't find correct layout-I'd for my board

after above fix fix when I attachedall of my internal HDD again my audio not working.

i found out I have backup installer of OS X on one of my HDD which have an efi partition on it then I add all of OZ folder from my main HDD to that efi partiotion and reboot and audio start to works

things get interesting now because after adding my voodoo and lilu and shiki to my OZ/DARWIN/EXTENTIONS/COMMON folder and add my dsdt too after rebooting I can't boot from apple logo. I tried cmd + v too boot in verbose and I see its hang on pci configuration end, bridges 5, devices 10.
after that I tried reset nvram but still not going further.
reset bios again still no go
update 2:
after booting using my old clover installer and removes lilu and rebooting I can boot again and my sound works fine with voodoohda

yes I have layout ID 1 because my audio only works with layout ID 1. In clover it works only if add 1 to my clover config

OK I added all my working usb and exclude them in my bootarg and everything work fine except audio. after adding lilu and appleALC-OZM to OZ/DARWIN/EXTENTIONS/COMMON still audio not working

This means, you now have the usual AppleALC and a separate Kernel Patcher kext that can also be used as Kernel Patcher for some other Kexts, the same developer(s) create. See here: Lilu - Generic kext patcher (neue Grundlage für AppleALC 1.1.x und Shiki 2.x.x) Just use the latest version of AppleALC-OZM and then just add this kernel Extension to the same directory and your audio should work just fine.

USB 3 is quite difficult... here is a guide, but it is in German Anleitung: USB 3.0 unter El Capitan / Sierra für jedermann (Zukunftssicher für Updates und komplett gepatcht) I've already thought of translating it into English (and maybe even French) but I didn't have time for that until now.

Ok after nearly 72 hours of flashing ozmosis and installing mac os i have these :

1: i flashed ozmosis for my mobo from this site and finally getting to install mac os sierra but my audio & usb3 didn't work. I tried to add the appleALC-OZM ready to my oz folder and as my usb3 only works by adding FakePCIID_XHCIMux & FakePCIID kext and my DSDT i still can't get those to works.

2 : I create my own ozmosis bios with adding FakePCIID_XHCIMux & FakePCIID kext to it with my Lan kext and DSDT and again installed and boot and copied AppleALC kext to my oz folder still cant get usb3 and audio to work.

I don't know what to do anymore

BTW i attached my dsdt files so you can see if it has any problem

I just use the latest version from ozmosis package for sierra default.plist with the change u said for reactive nivida injection and add my system definition to plist and didn't change other things.

btw now after I flashed my own created bios now its hanged at setmulticastmode .

i forgot to mentioned I added my intel network kext to my biosnow

Yes I did it first I enable my gt 640 and disable intel and it start to boot USB but at the middle of the progress it goes black screen I go and try again with verbose mod and saw that error I write above. Second I go and remove my gt 640 and only use intel and still same error
