Did anyone here with Asus X299 Sage (base not 10g) managed to fully assign the USB ports under an SSDT?

@Orc Mork re using bios 3101. Apparently this bios has the lock MSR broken and a few other things some people have been able to patch it so it’s a bit more stable, some users reported working great, so google “3101 Patching ASUS BIOS and disable MSR lock“. Myself I have also problems like GPU not displaying upon post & not posting sometimes regardless if using the patched or the Asus original bios. I have emailed Asus and asked for updates.

I recently upgraded to 10980xe and I’m having huge performance gaps between 2002 and 3101 as displayed on benchmark. I guess we can only wait for now can we?

@kaneske I'm looking forward as well to give that OC a go as well. Any luck with cleaning the EFI up? We have the same motherboard so it should just work.

I also have a problem with the thunderbolt plug and play. It only works if I power on with the device connected.

EFI.zipOw hi @ DSM2! I was just wondering if you could help with my post above, # 163 . I can't fix that problem with 5700XT.

I tried the the agdpmod = Pikera and and had no lock.

My monitors are going black before the log in. The only way I can get it to work is through HDMI. I also noticed the other way around to work but there are other problems, lags etc is if I change my smbios to MacPro 7.1 so that's not a good option either.

Any advice?

I have purchased recently a 5700XT and I used the agdpmod=pikera and no joy there, please find attached where it gets stuck.
