I had a Dell Latitude E6420 without Nvidia, just Intel! And no modifications or additions.
Here's the latest EFI I used on the Sequoia.
It works, as I know.

Hi everyone,
I first updated the bios to 1.38 (December 2024)
second, this is the second time I try to install Sequoia, latest 15.3 with my own opencore efi and clover
thirdly, I spent a lot of time using the both SSD (NVme or 2.5") and in my case it is stuck in the first part at 12min
only when I use an old and classic hard drive HDD everything will be fine
I just tell this to masters to also solve SSD problems in efi or kexts
Finally, my Dell Latitude E5590 looks like a complete new 2025 MacBook
with 💯/💯

But finally i use an external SSD 2.5" with TeamWork 128Go
With OpenCore efi

Secondly, don't update kexts
If you want upgrade clover and don't touch kexts
Add kexts of cardSD and Wifi too
With alcid=11 to fix sound

Just one thinks it is not stabe for SSD NVme
So i use a simple HDD
with the last firmware of bios Dell 1.38
