    On OCAT Database you have an EFI for your platform/chipset

    You have only to change first 3 kernel patches because they are set for a 12 cores Cpus

    the doubt is that they are leveling performance downwards to make the new product unique ... And it wouldn't be the first time that APPLE has done this

    Also I usually use to update my system to whatever is available But I always have a system that I am sure it is working correctly. With these beta of Monterey 12.3.x it happens that there is no longer the possibility of using OSX productively and with all the betas I've used over time, it's the first time this has happened to me And this seems anomalous to me on Apple's part, they can usually get a beta wrong but then somehow they fix it.

    here we are now in beta 4 and we have the same problems as in Beta 1

    if not worse!

    Personally I'm just worried about this major performance cut in discrete graphics cards..I don't understand if it's just to give their new ARM chips a performance edge over x86 based cpus

    If you check the dates you can see when it all began for me, before this I didn't even know how to use ubuntu..and I still have big difficulties in linux :)

    But it was the first lockdown due to covid 19 and i had some time to study


    It actually started a little earlier, but I only published the guide after I had managed to get it to go on several platforms.

    At that time in addition to Theresa with his videonovelas there were me and DSM2 who stressed the OpenCore devs to give us a hand even if they have always said that there would never be a direct support of AMD because of the "junk patches" useful to run OSX on those configurations.

    About Gabriel:

    I got to know Gabriel Luchina's github on this forum (Hackintosh-forum.de) when it was advertised in an app (OCAT) and had the developer correct the basic AMD configurations which were all wrong.


    Particularly those related to sTRX4 that were identical to those of the previous threadrippers or AM4 chipset, demonstrating the fact that people were talking and writing about things without having understood or tried them and subjectively interpreting in a bad way the indications of online guides.


    As my rule of life I try to talk only about things that I can try for myself, especially if they are to be included in applications that even inexperienced users use to configure their PC.


    For what you use when you propose a guide I can speak for me ..and in the links I posted at the beginning I always specify where and what I do

    Even Teresa was a big boost with its exhausting and useless trafila of videos dedicated to Proxmox without ever saying how if not subscribing to its patreon-

    My only merit is to have saved several sTRX users from her greedy little hands :), publishing a not perfect guide and creating some videos to show it

    As for the script, we created one in late 2019 after one of the leading OpenCore developers (downloadfritz) told me on insanelymac that the kernel patches for my system were "borked"

    With that script you had the chance to download an EFI for Proxmox (opencore / clover) and a recovery or a full installer to use as iso for Proxmox , and this for free without even the need to offer a coffee :)


    However it is always interesting to see how news is transmitted on the web, especially when you have experienced it firsthand!
