may I ask how do you check low frequency and voltage on AMD?

TheWachowski my was not a criticism to the choice of that kind of benchmark.
Only in the past it was proven it does not reflect well "power and speed" real life and it was possible also to cheat to have better performance, I do not remember but I think downloadfritz explain here or in other forum as data hub could interfere in this benchmark
About FPS difference, it is weird because I thought a 3950x (but also your CPU @5Ghz) could do better with that NVME (I use a sabrent rockets 4.0)
I have also better result with s sabrent rocket 3.0 (better than Aluveitie speed) but I do not know if he uses PBO and in that condition... in my case it is only enabled on bios

with my rig in signature, I think is not so valuable GeekBench test
I have had also a 3090 reference and in some real test in Davinci Resolve I had a 10% better performance with my reference 6900 xt (cuda vs Metal)
I do not understand some benchmarks and results on the net...maybe Nvidia pay better the reviewers

A common error is about SIP (it should be disabled before you do all installation)
This AMD ix is valid for all CC version and the only problem unsolved for now is with stabilisation and Morph Cut effects in premiere
I do not know others guide
Maybe you can ask to the guide and method creator (@tomnic)

Gordon-1979 sorry for English but my German could be also worst.
in below schema you can see how to build patch for different system.
XX is your cores number, as you did well 06 for a 6 cores, 08 for a 8 cores, 0c for a 12 cores, 10 for a 16 cores, 20 for a 32 cores
It is possible to not use this patch if you compile Opencore shaneee PR which include those patches inside a quirk:
ProvideCurrentCpuInfo
attention only PR Opencore edition has those patches included. Official release No
Sorry to be a bit off topic

5fps is about 12.5 % faster...in same situation could be useful
then I agree in normal condition a 6900xt is not a best BFTB..

walter77 when have had your same motherboard there was a weird behaviour with Davinci Resolve preference
different result with different approach to select gpu and metal

3x RX 6900 XT, 64 Nodes: 65 fps
3x RX 6900 XT, 6 Nodes THN: 35 fps
2x RX 6900 XT, 64 Nodes: 55 fps max
2x RX 6900 XT, 6 Nodes THN: 29 fps
1x RX 6900 XT, 64 Nodes: 31 fps max
1x RX 6900 XT, 6 Nodes THN: 27 fps
So that's not linear but i think for other Davinci related reasons.
Another nice test is a speed change to 25% with Retime Process set to Optical Flow and Motion Estimation set to Speed Warp.
1x RX6900Xt
6 TRN nodes:
66 Blur nodes:
System in signature:
If you have some project to test for retime process set to optical flow I will like to tst it
Thank you

sorry walter77 I have posted original project with is lock to 24fps..you can pu there 250 in project settings
You should test 6 nodes and 66 nodes I have read better now (it seems only two gpu are used for playback..but maybe I am wrong on thisI have this results with only a GPU with my trx40 in signature
6 nodes
30/32 fps
66 nodes
40/42 fps
On intel platform. you can try also to force Metal and test then to force in auto and test again
In the past on intel platform Davinci had a weird behaviour for this two settings
Thank you a lot for your test

walter77 thank you
here for the project:
here if you want to se how to use and test:
[Externes Medium: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybXa35weA08]if your 3 GPU scale well in your system it should be a top beast in Davinci Resolve.
My single 6900 XT in Metal performs better than my previous RTX 3090 Fe in CUDA

walter77 very curious to see a Davinci Resolve Candle benchmarkreuslt with your 3 gpu!
