could you post output of this terminal command?
kextstat | grep -v com.apple
I would put also in config kext declaration after VirtualSMC.kext (just in case)

you can use this app for Intel CPU HWMonitorSMC2
double left mouse click on the value you want to expose and you will see "tiny" on the bar
in this sample I have exposed:
GPU utilisation, mem used and disk temp and disk life in %
you can do the same with CPU and other many parameters
Aluveitie these kexts are in use by now
here not so much correct with
Sensei seems to be more precise
Interesting that this app exposes many values (not working for real so I do not know if it is only a fake of them or useful for others GPU seen by Apple SMC)
hackintosh-forum.de/attachment/183697/
if could be useful :
in this screenshot you can try to find all data exposed with used kext I shown above (it is sensei Graphics advanced Panel)
Aluveitie in my "empiric" tests with radeonMonitor/fakesmc and all apps available the best results in data exposed are:
1) hot spot temp
2) memory use (avaìlable/used)
3) GPU load
So maybe you have found other interesting values as GPU frequency
Aluveitie May I ask if you have seen (in linux driver) something related to fan RPM?
I have asked @slice on GitHub if he can read other GPU sensor (I mean no hot spot). at this moment no answer so maybe it is not simple to do it
to read temperature of your GPU is mandatory to use Fakesmc.kext and radeonmonitor.kext
In this way is exposed Temperature hot spot (as you can see in windows with GPUZ app)
if kexts's combination above is used you can detect Hot Spot temperature with these:
Istat menu, HWMonitorSMC, Sensei
Some problems could occur using fakesmc.kext (in my case is pretty stable)
For us (AMD users ) was a beta problem before ..now solved with beta 7 and old kext we always have used
Ok, https://github.com/khronokernel/SmallTree-I211-AT-patch funktioniert nun unter AMD wieder seit Beta 7
Disabled does not work for me after downloading it
j160 with MacPro7.1 to see the update
then before rebooting after downloaded set it to Disabled (in my rig)
fabiosun I havn't test it. Is it safe to change VirtualSMC with FakeSMC?
On my rig I have no problems with fakesmc
I used it daily with latest Monterey beta 6 and Big Sur 11.6 release
To explain better (I hope)
with:
FakeSMC.kext
RadeonMonitor.kext
I have exposed:
1)Temperature*
2)Memory utilisation
3)Device utilisation
*In my Knowledge sensor exposed is equivalent to GPU Z GPU Temperature hot spot and not to GPU Temperature (usually lower than hot spot)
may I ask how do you check low frequency and voltage on AMD?
TheWachowski my was not a criticism to the choice of that kind of benchmark.
Only in the past it was proven it does not reflect well "power and speed" real life and it was possible also to cheat to have better performance, I do not remember but I think downloadfritz explain here or in other forum as data hub could interfere in this benchmark
About FPS difference, it is weird because I thought a 3950x (but also your CPU @5Ghz) could do better with that NVME (I use a sabrent rockets 4.0)
I have also better result with s sabrent rocket 3.0 (better than Aluveitie speed) but I do not know if he uses PBO and in that condition... in my case it is only enabled on bios
with my rig in signature, I think is not so valuable GeekBench test
I have had also a 3090 reference and in some real test in Davinci Resolve I had a 10% better performance with my reference 6900 xt (cuda vs Metal)
I do not understand some benchmarks and results on the net...maybe Nvidia pay better the reviewers
