Thanks to gengik84 we also made available an app (VM Assistant) that helped to download an OSX recovery or a full installer and put it in the format required by Proxmox (Foxlet method)

In addition, an EFI was provided by the same app to start OSX

Pavo also approached virtualization with ProxMox following that guide (https://github.com/Pavo-IM/Proxintosh) and then moved on to creating an excellent guide with Unraid

So nothing new, current things have older roots.

Ich habe auch die XTXH und bei mir sieht es in Hackintool auch so aus wie bei dir. Außer dem Metal Device Namen sieht doch auch alles aus wie bei fboulegue. Und ich hab auch Null Probleme. Keine Lags. Um die 180000 Punkte in Geekbench 5 Metal.

I started the virtualization path with ProXmoX because my CPU was not supported by the OpenCore memory manager at the time

I agree with everything written by Aluveitie

Let me just say that the only thing that needed to be reserved for ProXmoX was some memory

I was running all the CPU for full 64 threads

Just losing one would be unacceptable to me!

The performances are comparable to a "Bare Metal" system, you can only have some weird audio crackle if you stress your CPU (eg with 3D rendering software)

For some types of AMD CPUs even better in terms of graphics performances (virtualization does not require a patch (kernel fix pat))

in geekbench my results fluctuate in OpenGL from a value of 100000 to a value of 130000à while for metal from a value of 185000 to a value of 204000

Wie TRX40 Benutzer wohl wissen, verlieren wir die Realtek 2.0 Audioausgabe wenn beim Start der Audioausgang angeschlossen ist.

Was jedoch funktioniert, ist mit getrennter Verbindung zu starten und erst nach dem Booten zu Verbinden, dann funktioniert die Realtek Audioausgabe einwandfrei.

Hat jemand schon eine bessere Lösung gefunden?

Hi martinmarsian I think if you have a not native NVRAM you should use a SSDT to emulate it

You could also try to rebuild kext cache after Nvidia drivers installation

I have had the same problemi with my rig (not supported well as yours in HighSierra) with a TitanXp Nvidia GPU
