I have a question: for the touchpad, since you're using an ELAN device, are the VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID kexts correctly configured? If not, you could try adjusting your config.plist to ensure the ELAN driver is being properly recognized. Additionally, check for any ACPI patches that might be needed for your model.
For WiFi, Intel and Atheros cards are generally not supported natively, I have tried this before. You may want to look into a Broadcom-based card, as they tend to have better macOS compatibility.
