I've found ASRock to sometimes have weird "choices" done in the BIOS. Mine didn't choose 1:1 for IF clock even though per spec it should have, and other such small quirks. Asus has been much more consistent in my experience.

Yeah, their support was usually quite responsive to such requests, their boards aren't bad, but I found Asus to be more solid, but that is also reflected in the higher price.

Ab Monterey 12.3 wird auf AMD die AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext noch benötigt, ansonsten passt das mit der neuesten OC Version. Aber wie gesagt, Monterey und Ventura laufen auf MSI 500 Boards nicht ohne grosse Probleme.Bezüglich der GPU kannst du z.B. bei Ebay Kleinanzeigen schauen, da gibt es ab und zu Leute die eine AMD Karte gegen Nvidia tauschen wollen

In general, Apple only supports GPUs they use and sell themselves. They added RDNA2 options to the Mac Pro as AMD stopped production of Vega.With the Intel MacPro getting replaced with an Apple Silicon one, there is a huge question mark if Apple will set up a new line of GPUs for the old Intel Mac Pro.

Monterey will just crash trying to boot on MSI, I don't know what steps you exactly need to do to work around that.
